What "smile design" actually means here
Cosmetic dentistry covers anything done primarily to change how your teeth look: porcelain or composite veneers, edge bonding to fix small chips, reshaping uneven teeth, and full smile design that combines several of these with whitening.
Before any veneer is prepared, we photograph your smile and, where relevant, build a preview mock-up so you can see the proposed shape and shade on your own teeth first — not on a stock photo of someone else.
Composite bonding is reversible and faster (often a single visit); porcelain veneers require light tooth preparation and lab fabrication, but hold their shade and shine for far longer. Which one fits depends on how much change you want and your budget — we will lay out both options plainly at the consultation.

Composite is a resin applied and shaped directly onto the tooth, usually in one visit, and can be repaired easily but wears and stains faster. Porcelain is fabricated in a lab from an impression or scan, requires light tooth preparation, and typically holds its shade and shine for 10–15 years.
Do veneers damage your natural teeth?
Porcelain veneers require removing a thin layer of enamel, which is not reversible — this is why we always show you a preview and discuss composite alternatives first for smaller changes. Composite bonding involves little to no enamel removal.
