Why All-on-4 needs only four implants
The 'All-on-4' technique places two implants straight and two implants at an angle toward the back of the jaw, using existing bone more efficiently than placing 6 or 8 separate implants. For many patients who have lost bone density over the years, this means avoiding a bone graft altogether.
A full temporary bridge can often be fitted the same day as implant placement, so you are not without teeth during healing. The final, permanent bridge is fitted once the implants have fully fused with the bone.
This is a bigger procedure than a single implant, and not the right fit for everyone — it depends on your bone volume, general health, and which teeth remain. The 3D scan and consultation will tell us whether it's the right option for you, or whether individual implants make more sense.
